Merino Wool
Sourced from free-roaming sheep under the African sun, Merino wool offers versatility in design and colour. Its beautiful texture and natural lanolin coating ensure organic durability. Celebrated for its fine, soft fibres, Merino provides exceptional comfort and warmth, making it ideal for luxurious rugs.
Karakul Wool
Woven from the wool of Karakul sheep in Southern Africa, this fibre is naturally coated in lanolin. Karakul wool creates durable, warm, and textured rugs with understated luxury. Known for its resilience and unique colour variations, from blacks to browns, it brings a distinct, rustic elegance to any space.
Mohair
Ethically sourced from Angora goats in Southern Africa, Mohair delivers a soft and silky texture. Available raw and curly or washed and combed, its natural sheen, durability, and resistance to soiling make it a sought-after textile. Mohair rugs offer a luxurious feel with exceptional resilience and a touch of elegance.
SULA
A timeless flatweave rug, available in natural Merino or Karakul wool, or fully customisable in the colour of your choice
VUYO
A contemporary two-tone flatweave, designed with any two colours you select, perfect for highlighting the lines of your space
MITYA
A versatile striped rug that can be made in two tones or multiple colours, with customisable stripe thickness to suit your style
LWANDLE
Inspired by our classic SULA, this flatweave features textured slubbs for added depth, offered in natural or vibrant colours
LINTWANA
Ideal for tying together your room’s palette, this rug allows you to combine up to five colours, bringing harmony to your space
Order Process
Custom Sizes
Every rug is hand-woven to order, allowing you to specify the exact dimensions and shape to perfectly fit your space. We offer special sizes for widths ranging from 60 cm to 5000 cm.
You can choose any length for your rug, with the understanding that it will weigh between 2 kg and 2.5 kg per square meter.
Colour
Easily incorporate colour into your design by selecting from our natural fibre options or consulting with us to choose your preferred shades from our colour box.
Texture
The texture of a wool rug is influenced by the chosen weave style. Whether you prefer a sleek flatweave or a plush, shaggy finish—and everything in between—we're here to assist you in selecting the perfect weave to achieve your ideal texture.
Pricing
Pricing varies based on your selected collection and colour choices. For a personalised quotation on one of our rugs or a custom design, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.
Lead Time
We do not hold stock. All rugs are made-to-order. Please allow 6-8 weeks for a standard rug size order.
Variations
As each rug is handmade, an approximate sizing variation of up to 8% may occur.
Payment
All orders require a 50% deposit before production can start, and the balance payment is due prior to delivery.
Delivery
Delivery within Cape Town is included. For locations outside of Cape Town, please contact us for a personalised shipping quote. We also offer international shipping options to cater to your needs.
